I get messages from Romania that I want a "profitable business" for me with this story, that I am business-izing it. It is a mean and murky way of thinking and once again it makes me believe that part of the Romanian world is morally ill. I am not after material advantages, I am not an art dealer of any sort, I am not selling or buying anything. I don't even own a painting by Ingrid Clapham. If any institution or individual wants to buy the paintings, it does it directly, I do not intermediate anything, I'm not interested in the financial transactions, the details, I only want to know that Ingrid ends up in a museum or on responsible hands. They who do not understand the purpose of this "museum for Ingrid", they should refrain from commenting because they do not have the necessary emotional intelligence to understand my endevour. It is a museum made of love, of that kind of love these cynics will never feel or understand. And last but not least, this will probably be (another) Romanian heritage going into oblivion because of indifference and neglect; and because of the scorn of some people with sick minds. The least I can do is write about Ingrid. I considered it to be my moral duty to gather together Ingrid's life and works somewhere in a corner of the internet, somewhere in the ethereal world ...
